After the huge success of Phase 1 of the Noongar Pop Culture project which took the form of a music and language revival program, CAN returned to Narrogin Senior High School to engage female students in a fashion project that would help them embrace their identity, culture and creativity.

The Noongar Pop Culture Music and Language Revival program set out to keep the critically endangered language of Noongar alive, inspiring young people at Narrogin Senior High School to learn their traditional language through pop music, hip hop and media.

When Bush Babies went to Narrogin in 2013, the project took another direction. Celebrating the strength and resilience of Noongar families, the launch showcased the stunning imagery collected during the first two phases of Bush Babies in Kellerberrin and Quairading.
