OVERVIEW

With the aim of encouraging greater intercultural and intergenerational engagement, participation and understanding of culture, race and solidarity, Lotterywest Story Street delivered inspiring cultural content in 2019 through community events, in public spaces and on digital multimedia platforms.

Celebrating diverse heritages and stories within the City of Wanneroo, City of Canning and City of Stirling, Lotterywest Story Street involved twenty-eight events in various venues across these local government areas. In total, 500 participants from fifty-one CaLD communities came together at Story Street workshops and events to share stories, conversations and food.
