For 40 years, CAN has been transforming communities through the power of art and creativity. Our high-quality, impactful projects bring people together to share stories, explore truth, and celebrate our shared humanity.
By connecting artists and communities, we create spaces for truth-telling, belonging and diversity - helping build a more unified and compassionate society. In these uncertain times, this mission feels more vital than ever.
Now we’re growing our membership - building a movement that embraces the value of community arts and cultural development. Membership starts at $20.
Join a passionate network committed to change.
Together, we can build a stronger, more unified community.
Whether amplifying young voices, supporting regional leadership, or advancing truth-telling through the arts, your membership strengthens the collective effort to make WA more connected, inclusive and vibrant.
Arts and cultural activity help people connect, reduce loneliness, and strengthen trust between communities. CAN's work gives people a way to share stories, hear different perspectives, express identity and support health and wellbeing.
Community-created art is grounded in lived experience, making it grassroots, authentic and honest. When these stories are shared as engaging, contemporary art, they can travel further and connect with wider audiences.
CAN's AGM is coming up! All members are welcome to attend either in person or online.
