CAN has run their Lullabies program in Bunbury, Collie, Midvale and Mandurah… and it's now Northam’s time to shine. Join Noongar facilitators, Cyndy Moody and Phil Bartlett to create and learn beautiful lullabies in Noongar language for your moort!!
Sessions will run every Thursday 10am-12.30pm at Bilya Koort Boodja from 28 April to end of June.
CAN asks that everyone who attends a workshop in person shows their proof of vaccination.
If there is enough interest, there will also be online sessions for people who can't make the in person workshops.
Morning tea provided.
This is your chance to share and celebrate Noongar language, write your own lullaby and share your beautiful song with the community!
April- June
The program starts with language, songwriting and craft sessions run by incredible Noongar facilitators, including Cyndy Moody and Phil Bartlett.
June- July
You will then have the opportunity to work with professional artists, including Phil Bartlett, to write, sing and record your lullaby.
August- September
Celebrate and share your lullabies with the Northam community!
