High VisAbility exhibition at AWESOME Festival

High VisAbility exhibition at AWESOME Festival
By Community Arts Network
02 September 2024

Celebrating identity and visibility, collaboration and possibility, High VisAbility is a playful pop-up exhibition that’s full of neon, fluoro fun.

The bold and bright artworks you’ll see on display are a sample of the outcomes of the High VisAbility project, which illuminates pathways into the arts for young people with disabilities.

This project saw students from Sir David Brand School work with professional artists Mandy White and Natalie Scholtz to create artworks that explore identity, place and visibility. These works have been digitised and fused into the fluorescent sculptures and quirky animations.

Taking place as part of the 2024 AWESOME Festival, this delightful pop-up is a taster of the artwork generated during High VisAbility, with more to be shared in the coming months.
