The launch of a hand-crafted map of Bindjareb Country at the start of NAIDOC Week 2024 celebrated the culmination of the Place Names Korijekup (Harvey) project. 

Featuring the locations of three Noongar placenames as well as many culturally significant locations, the beautifully dyed, stitched, printed and painted map was presented to the community of Korijekup at an exhibition to celebrate NAIDOC Week, held at the Harvey Town Hall, 8 July 2024. Created collaboratively by members of the Bindjareb community led by artists Geri Hayden and Sandy McKendrick, the map is the culmination of Place Names Korijekup, a Noongar language revival project produced by CAN in collaboration with the Harvey Aboriginal Corporation and Moodjar.
