Making Time 2025: Breathing Space
We know that making time and space for your own creativity and well-being is so important, especially when working in the creative and community arts. The 2025 Making Time conference invited attendees to make space to breathe – to unwind, to create, to connect with themselves and with others – by the calming waters of the Derbal Yaragan (Swan River).
Focusing on the intersection between arts and social and emotional well-being, Making Time 2025 wove together inspiring conversations, creative workshops, diverse perspectives, networking opportunities and delicious food, 2025's Making Time was followed by CAN’s 40th birthday celebration sundowner, and conference attendees were invited to join the festivities.
Delegates heard from some of WA’s most innovative arts and community sector leaders, artists and practitioners as they explored the ways in which we can use creativity to take care of ourselves, as well as others.
