PROJECT
Bringing artist-led creative workshops into residential aged care homes, The Creative Age is a project that employs the power of the arts and creative processes to enhance quality of life, create connections and improve mental health and wellbeing.
The Creative Age supports and inspires those living in residential care to live meaningful and engaged lives through creative expression and connection. This project also offers the potential for intergenerational dialogues to occur, through the engagement of family members in story sharing and collaborative art-making processes. Creating together helps to forge stronger communication, bonds and relationships.
The Creative Age aims to bring a little extra joy into the lives of participants, helping them to connect with their stories and their inherent creativity, as well as to their peers, carers, families and the broader community.
