Thinking about attending CAN’s annual Making Time conference in 2026?

We spoke to conference delegates at CAN’s 2025 Making Time conference to find out why they choose to attend this annual symposium for people working in the arts, culture and community spaces.

Featuring panel discussions, hands-on creative workshops, networking opportunities and delicious food and drink, Making Time offers artists, arts workers and CACD workers the opportunity to take time to connect with contemporaries, engage in conversations about the arts and experience the joy of creativity for its own sake.

The theme of 2025’s Making Time event was “Breathing Space”, inviting attendees to make time to breathe; to unwind, to create and to connect with self and others.

Making Time 2025 was held at the Nedlands Yacht Club.
